  1. Nice grounds/facilities, but a bit pricey and the springs just aren't hot. They're kind of lukewarm at best.

  2. We’re going to Vichy Springs again this weekend. There is no doubt it is pricey- even the day use fees. The rooms are pretty basic- the staff is not particularly friendly- But it is very memorable. It is quiet, old fashioned and a little wild.

  3. This naturally warm carbonated Vichy spring is totally unique. The bubbles simply immerse one in a euphoric state of peace. The setting is stunning with million year old travertine formations from the mineral water as a backdrop and 700 acres to unwind on. The prices are reasonable for rooms or cottages and worth the 2 hour drive from San Francisco. This place is extremely clean and well looked after. Thai and Japanese restaurants are excellent as well in town. Ukiah is rough around the edges but the resort is first rate.

  4. 10/21/2002- Last week we visited Vichy Springs. The waters are naturally carbonated. Worth a visit! The waters are only about 90 degrees but they are grand. We don’t recommend the accomodations which are a tad spendy. It is a serene setting except for the gun club shooting next door (though they should be moving soon and they stop shooting at 5 PM). Next time we will go for the day or stay elsewhere in Ukiah. A little off the subject but Ukiah has the best dang Thai food in CA.! Ruen Tong Thai Restaurant 801 N State St.

  5. 10/02/2002- I didn’t see this spring listed on your excellent website. This spring is worth a visit. The accomodations are expensive and not worth the price. It is great as a day visit.
