1 Review on “Air Panas Banjar Hot Springs, Banjar, Bali”
I was here in 2006, but it seems like it hasn’t changed much. Although there’s a lot of rectangular cement, it’s still very pretty because of the surrounding jungle, and decorative dragon head water spouts. That said, the water is natural and seemingly unfiltered, so expect some algae & for your bathing suit to turn yellowish green. I really enjoyed visiting this, along with a nearby mountain top Buddhist monastery, and a waterfall with HUGE floppy blue butterflies. You can hire a driver for half a day, to do all those things… they’re more concerned about covering the cost of gas, than about their time. It felt like a gauntlet, being forced to pass the aggressive souvenir vendors between the parking lot and the entry. But it sounds like they’ve calmed down a little.
